let's recall...
past 2 days afternoon shift was peaceful n quiet
less patients, less relatives (all thanks to swine flu)
and working on labour day
ya, its labouring day..
and it is just so horrible to pass report to 'tree'
and worse still receive report from her yesterday
ask her pls stop telling stories
cos i dun lik to hear her voice at all

AM yesterday was kinda a bit busy though
helped out sel to do sponging
spent 1hr sponging + dressing (just 1 pt)
the bed sores just eEewWww me out
cant imgine the big big hole over there
poor aunty, must be very painful
having pt bugging me his rashes coming out
pt vomitting out of no where
but still stable pts and no admissions
thank god

meet-up session with poly-mates yesterday also
yuz, CC, JL, sel, daryl, jon, omar, ivan, prece & bf and GH
had dinner at sakura (somerset)
the crowd was overwhelming
and i spent 30 bucks without eating much thing
not at all feeling filling
but... however ...
i think it is worth it ...
cos its a get-together session with my dearest classmates
and of cos catching up with friend whom i almost lost touch with
a nice talk out session with her..
and m really glad that things are going fine this way
and i hope it remains and goes on better
well, we shall grow up and be adults
a lot of snip-snapping, flashes of the cams
laughing, gossiping, talking about the past

and then coffee session with mr bernard
ate the kui-lapis (with pruns) that he made himself
hang out till 10 plus n home sweet home

AM today again
was thrown to work in team 3
well, but at least i dun have to be in team 2
start wearing the PPE go in n out of isolation
but team 3 is really busy and 'heavy'
all pts need sponging
poor sel n rox struggling to get all done..
sorry i wasnt able to get time to help
whole cubicle was GRM pts
busy getting BP readings for my DIL pt
many changes in IVs (pick, adminsiter, co-sign)
omg, all these driving me crazy
many many IVs in the early morning
pages n pages of changes to look thru
and out of the blue mood, 2 other pts was added to my DIL list
gOsh.....
1 active, 2 ward management
++ hrly parameters
pt unhappy dressing not done
irritating phone calls from L1 re: relatives wanting to come up to ward to visit
despite telling them no more than 2 visitors
they turned a deaf ear
happily sitting in the room

ORANGE ALERT has kept everyone busy
swine flu cases adding on to the list
many middle east countries affected
let just pray for the best
let this flu bug get away soon..
