11th Stroke Conference
sent there as a delegate
before attending, i was still worried that i m feel asleep
but apperently i stayed awake thru' out
the speakers are fantastic
saw many "big shots"
NCs, Profs, Drs, etc
was all alone for the 1st session
till i spot Esther during tea break

Session 1 & 2 was on Stroke Nursing Symposium
presented by our APN Wen Tao, NC Wai May, SSN Enuice Tay, SSN Wei Ling, Case Manager Sze Chia and last but not least A/Prof Edward Poon
And let me tell u
Prof Poon is in nursing and he is fantastic
his speech on Palliative Care really brings u into his "world" of palliative
and he said "palliative is not about dying, its about living"
And he mentioned "Tuesday with Morris" (a story)
how this old man dealt with his dying
and i m reading this book at this moment
Prof enlightened us the meaning of palliative
its really interesting
and its really not easy to be a palliative nurse

u know what
this conference is almost like a eating sesssion
had 2 teabreaks and lunch
bloated
but the food are yummy nice
saw many many NCs there
and it shows wards are left with no NCs today

After lunch was was Session 3 & 4
its the Medical Syposium
Presented by Dr Deidre, Dr Goh H.S, Dr Rajinder Singh and our Neurosurgeons Dr Ernest Wang, A/Prof Ivan Ng and Dr Pang B.C
These sessions mostly was touched on meds and research
and i didnt quiet understand part of it
mayb 70% - 80% of it
haha...
Prof Ong was there too
first time see him outside hospital
and he is smiling and laughing
look lik a 慈祥的爷爷

And the sessions was rounded up
