Night Night Night!!!
Night shift is getting horrible recently
My just passed night shift on Friday and Saturday was heaven and hell
Friday night, our first night shift
Was the "extra" for the night shift as assigned
and of cos i m not like some ppl...
i helped in hypocount, IVs, call bells, turnings (2 side somemore), etc
Poor mei had her horrible first night with hrly para++, hrly hypocount, spinal nursing pt who is not complient at all and the stupid dr wants to run IV Methylpred but dont know how to run just only know how to order, mr painkiller asking for meds and injection and a OUT OF NOWHERE PR BLEED
Just these few already made her so damn busy
Selvi's side was little better, she managed to complete her report
And she still helped mei side also
Had Eng and Shanti on night also..
Me... spent 1 and 1/2 hrs with the spinal nursing pt sent him down for MRI and X-ray
Back to ward to finish the undone things
Charging to be done, CSSD to be sent, IV Methylpred to be infused (weird orders that we nv done before) and i have to go to ICU to ask them how to run and get the protocol..
And time flies super fast on the first night
we only managed to eat the food i bought which is meant for supper became out breakfast

saturday night shift was slightly better
Mei still have almost the same number of hrly parameters, the hrly hypocount pt who refused plug, BSL going harewire and mei keep dosing him with glucose drink... We even offered him to eat pizza and chocos... lol...
2 new pts for mei but both were stable
Selvi's side was even better, our dearest queen went home
but then... we had a slightly drowsy, confused, restless aunty..
complains of chest pain but its not chest pain (as per the dr), heart rate went tachy, breathless...
and almost every hour we were purging her fentanyl
but at least this night was better cause we still have time to eat
we had coffee bread - Eng, pizza bread - Mei, "Tosie" - Selvi

SHORT OF MANPOWER!!!!
MC MC MC, FCL FCL FCL!!!!!! already had sunitha MC for 2 days
then Min Soe who out of no where during his afternoon shift felt feverish, went to see Dr and was given 2 days of MC!!
luckily Yan managed to call Jia Xia back to work AM shift
and who knows, middle of the night we had another person calling up asking for FCL
OH My Goodness!!!
and was even granted by NO

where to find ppl to work..
cant even get to call back anybody
Staffing: 3 upon 3 with NO NIC
but thank got it was a sunday and not monday, otherwise everybody will go CRAZY!!!
well, so... i helped them to give IVs, just in case no deployment was given to them and my poor collegues have to give oral meds and IVs and even helped out in sponging
home sweet home with the completion of the madness night shift

slept for 4 hrs..
meet up with cousin lihong to chinatown to settle our Air tix
and the manager, Zach was funny la..
mistooken us for another of his customer that he attended to few days back for the booking of trip to Genting.. haha..
Anyway, thanks for the "brainwashing" last week but then we still insisted on our plans...
And we got our dates, time, air, hotel, DEPOSIT all DONE!!!
a sign of relief... cos no more haunting around
We just have to wait patiently for the day to come and off we FLY OFF away from Singapore
And i just cant wait for that day to come

Then we headed down to town for little shopping
been a long time since last shopped at Far East Plaza
We each bought a Cardigan, happily trying and chit-chatthing with the sales-girl
Dinner at Far East.. We decided to have BUDGET meal cos we need to save save and save
A little more shopping after dinner and its just WINDOW SHOPPING
From Far East to Ion to Cine where we wanted to sing cos we have to be on the waiting list - which is approx 9.30hr or later
Ringing up other outlets and finally settled at Hougang - made a booking
Walked down to Plaza Sing, little shopping around..
Saw 2 pairs of heels i like but.. super ex...
aAHhHhH!!! 忍!!! gotta save for the trip
NEL down back to hougang
window shopped at Hougang Mall then went to K!!!
$8 $8 $8 in celebration of their 8th anniversary
And happy us getta sing for 4 1/2 hrs
Its damn worth it la
Singing are the happy moments
home sweet home at 2am

MONDAY BLUESSSsssssssss

i only get to claim it today
Lunch with Mummy and Xavier at Ajisen
Shopping!!!
i feel myself a SHOP-a-holic recently
i wished i could just spend and buy watever i like without having to think of how much it cos or even whether i have it or not... but just buy whatever that i like...
Had dessert at DessertStory - Mango Snow Ice (my all time fav)
it looks nice but its doesnt taste nice - Snow Ice meant to be smooth and soft but its a little 粗 and not soft when eaten and the after taste left in the mouth is just so discomfort
Back homed, had my table cleaned and packed...
Cleared all the unwanted bills
And out for dinner with Bob, Jamie (bob's gf), Kai and Yilin (kai's gf) at C.P yoshinoya
Wei Zhong老师 and Gilbert left for home to have dinner
After dinner we had Beancurb for dessert at Kovan
And then home sweet home...

YL: (talking to bf) When i was in M'sia, i woke up in the middle of night, saw the time was 4:44am, i was so scared
K: WHy?? u think u will die is it?? (4:44 = 死死死)
YL: no la.. but i was scared la... couldnt sleep and i looked around.. Cos when u are overseas, u wake up see the time like that (4:44), will be scare de ma
B: (talking to Jan) if i m overseas if i wake up and see the time 8:88hr i also will be very scared
Jan: (wahaha.... LOL)
YL & K: What thing???
B: (repeated what he said to J again)
After YL, K and J finished listening
YL: (digesting what B had said, apprently dont understand the LAME joke B had said)
K: (recalling what B said also, also dont really understand what B said)
YL: Good what, why u scared?? 8:88 = 发发发 what, nothin to scare ma
J: Where got time is 8:88 de??
B & Jan: (laughing out loud)
B: Ya la, dont have la... That is why i said if i see the time 8:88 i definately will be very scared and cannot sleep...
